The good news continues to roll in for Google, which saw its brand value jump 34% year-over-year, vaulting it into the second spot according to Interbrand’s list of the top 100 global brands. New research from Vision Critical – which surveyed 7,000 American Millennials (18-34) and 28,000 individuals in the general market – reveals that Google is Millennials’ “most-loved” brand. It’s also everyone else’s – at least according to the metrics (product features, pricing, communications, distribution and service) tracked.
Beyond Google, Amazon.com (#3 for Millennials; #2 for the general market), Microsoft (#6 for Millennials; #3 for the general market) and Reese’s (#7 for Millennials; #6 for the general market) were the other brands to make it into the top 10 for both groups.
Among Millennials, YouTube counted as the second most-loved brand, while Nintendo was 4th and Oreo rounded out the top 5. For the general market, National Geographic ranked 4th and American Red Cross 5th. Read the rest at MarketingCharts.
