I just used one of these this week at a Chili’s restaurant in Bloomington, Minnesota. It’s pretty slick technology. Ziosk is essentially a tablet computer on a stand with a slot for a credit card. You run your card through to pay for your meal and the app will offer to split the bill for you and auto calculates the tip. After you complete the transaction, it will spit out a paper receipt and asks you to complete a short customer satisfaction survey.
