On Monday, November 3, this blog will have a new design and will be running on a new platform: WordPress.
As a result, your RSS feed may no longer work. I am trying to minimize the pain but with regard to technology, there are often unforeseen glitches.
For those of you who are subscribed through the FeedBurner feed, there should be no interruption. For those of you who are subscribed directly to the
- Atom feed at https://e-strategyblog.com/atom.xml
- the RSS 1.0 feed at https://e-strategyblog.com/index.rdf
- or the RSS 2.0 feed at https://e-strategyblog.com/rss.xml
your subscription will likely be broken. Those three feeds will be automatically redirected to http://estrategyblog.com/blog/feed/rss/ which in turn will be redirected to the FeedBurner feed at http://feeds.feedburner.com/e-strategyblog.
The short of it is, if you do not get a feed update on Monday, your feed is likely broken and you'll need to resubscribe at http://feeds.feedburner.com/e-strategyblog. I apologize, but there is no other solution if I want to move to WordPress…and I do.
As I said in a previous post, though TypePad has served me well and is a fine blogging platform (and they are currently upgrading their features), WordPress offers the flexibility and control that I need at this point.
On Monday, you'll see a new design (though I'm still hunting for a design, so I may change it again in the not too distant future), with new features.
I'll say no more. You can wait one more day to find out.
