The use of mobile phones is still growing, and more than half of US small businesses have taken note and optimized their sites accordingly. Some 40%, however, have not.
Yodle and Research Now polled 400 US small businesses. Small businesses were defined as locally operated businesses with fewer than 25 employees. More than half (52%) of respondents said their website is mobile-optimized thanks to the increased use of mobile phones.
Additionally, 14% of US small businesses said because of the increase, they built mobile-optimized emails, and 11% said they use SMS marketing. Read the rest at eMarketer.
