It’s the second half of August. Too late for a back to school (BTS) data update? Not so, according to multiple recent studies that suggest a later end for the season this year. In fact, MasterCard research reminds that last year, August 29 was the heaviest shopping day of the Back To School season, and in a survey conducted last week by Market Track, 63% of respondents said they had yet to finish their BTS shopping.
