Video views of travel-related content on YouTube are growing rapidly, according to Google, with half of those views during 2012 and 2013 being for ads. Destination names accounted for 71% of travel searches on YouTube from March 2012 to March 2013, and tourist destinations and attractions comprised 40% share of travel video views during 2012 and 2013.
