Older Americans' Adoption Of Streaming Services, Q4 2012 vs Q4 2013 [CHART] Some 61% of 55+ households have broadband internet access, with broadband penetration rates among the 55-64 bracket on par with the general population (74% and 72%, respectively). In Q4 2013, 17% of 55+ broadband households used subscription streaming services during the prior 30 days, up from 12% doing so in the year-earlier period.
