Despite having a highly engaged mobile user base, Twitter falls behind Google+ in mobile application popularity around the world, according to a recent study from GlobalWebIndex. Results from the survey, which took place during Q2 in 31 countries and counted 160,000 respondents, indicate that 30% of smartphone owners claimed to have used the Google+ mobile app in the past month, compared to 22% for Twitter’s app. Read the rest at MarketingCharts.
