In terms of how these eager digital millennial shoppers actually behave, a February survey of 18- to 35-year-old internet users in the US, conducted by nonprofit research group the Urban Land Institute, found that 45% of respondents said they spent 1 hour or more per day checking out retail-oriented sites.
