Dish Network is now offering subscribers a DVR–called The Hopper–that has an “Auto-Hop” feature skip commercials for prime time television. The battle continues but it is only a battle because people don’t want to be interrupted, not because they don’t want to see advertising. They just want to see it on their terms.
