Yahoo signed a pact with Playtone and Reliance Entertainment to launch the Internet pioneer’s first scripted online program as it continues to seek new ways to revitalize its weakened brand.
The company will air “Electric City,” a futuristic, digital-animated series created by and starring Tom Hanks. Yahoo plans to run the show this year. Read the rest at Wall Street Journal.
