This is the introduction to Communications 2.0, a presentation on Web 2.0 that provides an overview of Web 2.0 technologies.

This introduction discusses the theories behind Web 2.0 technologies and services, addressing the ideas of centers of online gravity, wisdom of crowds, the long tail, the sharing implicit in social media, as well as the answer culture.
